The Barn features fully air-conditioned bride and groom's suites, 5 bathroom stalls, and an open Main Hall that looks directly out over the popular "Cocktail Cove" at Smith Lake.

With 5,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, and a large outdoor area for ceremonies, team activities, yoga classes, or luncheons, the property can comfortably hold 250 guests and sleeps 66 overnight across 6 luxurious homes and cottages.

The Barn, the Cottages and the Glass house are available to be rented together for weekend or nightly event packages.

The property is located on a private lot surrounded by water on all sides. Just 45 minutes from downtown Birmingham Alabama on Lewis Smith Lake, guests can enjoy the amazing panoramic views, the natural light, and the 40 acres of private lake living. The house was designed by Christopher Architects and features a complete glass-enclosed living room and 5 large outdoor areas with enough space for a wedding of 40 people.

We offer two wedding venues at The Barn Smith Lake, along with sleeping accommodations for up to 66 overnight guests across 6 luxury rental properties. Venue #1 is the Glass House, and venue #2 is The Barn. The venues are about 750 feet away from each other, and both offer very scenic views and lots of privacy.

Both venues offer indoor and outdoor event options and the property can handle groups of 40 (The Glass House) and up to 250 (The Barn).
